SGR & SGH Suction Pads

Schmalz has developed the SGR and SGH suction pads for handling CDs or DVDs in fast-running, fully automatic systems. This circular suction pad, with diameters ranging from 17 mm to 36 mm, comes in either a closed version (SGR) or semi-circular version (SGH), and is shaped for direct insertion into various mountings.

• Wide range of different sizes and shapes for various mountings
• Various diameters to match all common CD types
• Full-ring version (SGR): full suction force in spite of small size
• Half-ring version (SGH): can be moved sideways towards a centering mandrel
• Also available with spring mounting (SGR-G, SGH-G) for efficient cancellation of adhesion forces
