Frequently asked questions:

1. What is a servo motor and how does it work?

A servo motor is an electro-mechanical device (or an electric motor) that produces torque and velocity (relative to the system's supplied current and voltage).

It works as part of a 'closed loop system' where torque and velocity are created from servo-controller commands. This is because regulation of the process allows for system feedback.

2. What is a servo motor used for?

A servomotor is used to precisely control the angular or linear position of either a rotary motor or linear actuator. It consists of a suitable motor as well as a sensor or controller to provide linear actuator position feedback.

3. What is the working principle of servo motor?

Using the working principle of Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), where the angle of rotation is controlled by the pulse duration.
