SGGN Bell-Shaped Suction Pads

Schmalz has developed the SGGN, a round, bell-shaped suction pad for the secure handling of concave or convex work pieces, ideal for loading of presses with bodywork components in the automobile industry.

Its robust, wear-resistant bell-shaped suction pad SGGN with single sealing lip, consisting of suction pad SGG and connection nipple has a large suction diameter range from 85 mm to 115 mm.

• Made of special wear resistant material, Vulkollan VU1, with a lifetime 20 times higher compared to standard NBR
• Bell-shape and long, flexible sealing lip for the handling of convex or concave work pieces
• Optimum shape for multi-shift operations with very short cycle times
