Bellows Suction Pads FSGB-R (Rectangular)

Schmalz has developed the rectangular bellows suction pads (type FSGB-R) with 2.5 or 3.5 folds for the handling of rectangular packing materials with non-uniform surfaces, such as film-packed products, where special care needs to be given to not deform the outer packing during handling.

The unique design of this suction pad enables this type of handling, as the suction pad has an adaptable geometry and soft, flexible sealing lip. The suction pad is securely clamped between connection plates, and a screw connection of the pad side to permit simple, in-situation replacement of the pad. An optional supporting frame can be fitted onto one of the pads’ corrugations depending on the application.

  • Large, rectangular suction surface area (from 52 x 25 mm to 80 x 50 mm) ideal for the secure gripping of rectangular work pieces
  • Soft and flexible folds for good adaptation to non-uniform surfaces and non-rigid work pieces
  • Soft and adaptable sealing lip for secure sealing on structured surfaces and work pieces with folds
  • Supporting frames for mounting in folds (optional) for improved stability of the suction pad's folds
