Most liquid tanks must also allow for the exchange of air. They must be able to breathe. Depending on the machine cycles, air is sucked into the tank and pressed outwards again.
This air contains small miniature particles and also water vapour. Due to different temperatures in the tank, the water vapour condenses.
The resulting water promotes the oxidation process of the oil and is also responsible for possibly occurring damage at the gears and machines. Due to the catalytic influence of solid metallic parts, this process is further accelerated
