2/2 Way Solenoid Valves

2/2 way solenoid valves from Tectra Automation, a Bosch Rexroth South Africa Group Company, are available in 3 variants, direct acting, indirect acting and membrane solenoid valves.

Their cost-effectiveness and cross-medium functionality, as well as their robust construction, has earned them their place in Tectra Automation’s range of high quality process valves.

Membrane Solenoid Valves

Membrane solenoid valves are available with NBR, Viton or EPDM seals, valve temperature range is from -10° – 80° C, constructed of brass with stainless steel core, springs and armature tube. View the data sheet below.

Direct Acting Solenoid Valves

Direct acting solenoid valves are constructed of brass, the core, springs and armature tube are stainless steel, and seals are available in NBR, Viton or EPDM. Standard temperature range of -10° – 80° C. View the data sheet below.

Indirect Acting Solenoid Valves

Indirect acting solenoid valves accommodate temperature ranges between -10° – 80° C, stainless steel springs, core and armature tubing and brass body with available seals in NBR, EPDM or Viton. View the data sheet below.

Application Uses

Used for numerous applications, it is important that the correct seal is used for the appropriate application. The uses and seals are:

  • NBR seal: Air, inert gas, water at max of 75° C, mineral oils, gas oil and fuel oils
  • Viton seal: Mineral oil, petrol, gas oil and fuel oils
  • EPDM seals: Hot water and steam with max pressure of 2.5 bar
