Remote-mounted valves are a type of hydraulic accessory that is compact in size and can be integrated into many different pneumatic solutions. Our range is very versatile in that it is able to actuate single- and double-acting cylinders.
Our entire range of remote-mounted valves utilise either 1/4” or 3/8” NPTF ports and can handle working pressures of up to 700 bar. In our 4-way, 3-position valves there is a specialised built-in feature called Posi-Check®.
This functions to guard against pressure loss when shifting from "advance" to "hold" positions. With a valve in the "hold" position, cylinder ports are blocked and oil is effectively directed from the pump to the reservoir. To prevent sudden, uncontrolled descent of a load as it is being lowered, it is advisable to use a special load lowering valve or counter balance valve in your application.

Configuration
As standard these valves can be supplied with either EQUAL POWER or BIASED POWER spools, the latter is suitable for hoisting applications (normal power for lifting - reduced power for lowering).
The direction of reduced power must be stated when ordering CW or CCW, when viewed on the output shaft of the motor or geared motor..
