Precision Steel Shafts serve as a guidance shaft for linear bushings and are manufactured to suit individual customer specifications.
These solid or tubular shafts feature chamfers to protect the linear bushing seal, providing a longer service life. Precision steel shafts are available in either heat-treated steel, corrosion-resistant steel or hard chrome plated steel versions.
The surface of the shaft is induction-hardened to a depth of at least 0.4 up to 3.25 mm depending on the shaft diameter.
