Quick Exhaust Valve

Why use quick exhaust valves?

A quick air exhaust valve provides a rapid discharge of air to a pneumatic cylinder after the control valve. When air hits the back of the valve seal, it pushes it forward against the exhaust port. Typically the exhaust valve is installed in the inlet of a spring return or double-acting cylinder.

This range of Aventics flow and check valves are pneumatic quick exhaust valves with NPT ports and aluminium or polymer bodies.

They speed the exhausting of air cylinders, clutches or other pneumatic devices, and also feature the following design considerations:

• Sensitive quick exhaust valves: lower differential pressure across the diaphragm to open the exhaust
• Larger capacity quick exhaust valves: equipped with large internal air passages to exhaust air quickly in your application
• Low noise quick exhaust valves: these valves feature an optimised diaphragm design to eliminate noisy chattering associated with exhaust valves
