Oval, Flat Suction Pad

Schmalz has developed the oval suction plates SPLO and SGON for the handling of long, narrow work pieces such as sections or door and window frames where considerably higher suction force is required than with round, flat suction pads.

The SPLO and SGON suction pads are available with Schmalz’s sensing valve that can detect the presence of work pieces and shut off the unused vacuums, drastically reducing energy requirements. Additionally, these pads are is equipped with a long sealing lip for the secure handling of very curved work pieces

• SPLO Suction area (LxW) from 60 x 20 mm to 370 x 80 mm
• SGON Suction area (LxW) from 4 x 2 mm to 90 x 30 mm
• Oval, flat suction plate ideal for the handling of long, narrow work pieces and curved work pieces
• Support plate made of steel or aluminum with vulcanised sealing lip for secure handling
• Capable of handling heavy loads flexible mounting
• Little marking, even of sensitive surfaces
• Various sizes and shapes for a wide range of applications
