Three interns, with the support and training of Bosch Rexroth Mozambique have graduated from the Mimi Niko Kazi (“I am working already”) programme, on 15 November 2021. The graduation ceremony took place at the Southern Sun Hotel in Maputo City Capital of Mozambique, where 75 interns graduated. One of the Bosch Rexroth Mozambique interns secured permanent employment at the company, effective 1 November 2021.
At the Ceremony event, hosted by MozParks and the Youth & Employment Secretary of State, Bosch Rexroth Mozambique was one of seven companies that received a Certificate of Honourable Mention, as the company consistently supports and trains interns on an annual basis.
The event also served as the launch of new internship sponsorships which will be financed by Switzerland and Germany ambassadors in Mozambique. With these new sponsorships, the programme is available to any Mozambique company and not just those that belong to MozParks (Industrial Free Zone Parks).
“Supporting this programme is part of our mission to train more than 100 interns by 2022 and retain the best with Bosch Rexroth Mozambique. We want to flood the market with good technicians on Hydraulics,” says Belmiro Beve, Country Manager, Bosch Rexroth Matola Lda.
