New range of Bosch Rexroth AquaSensors

The new AquaSensor range (Humidity Sensor WGM) from Hytec Fluid Technology.

Hytec Fluid Technology (HFT) has launched the Bosch Rexroth range of AquaSensor humidity sensors, branded Humidity Sensor WGM.

The sensors were developed to continuously monitor application oil RH (moisture) and temperature levels and warn operators of any deviances in the hydraulic operation.

An ideal solution for proactive maintenance strategies, these sensors deliver live feedback on moisture and temperature levels, so operators can reduce or fix any ingress points or associated complications. Additionally, the sensors’ versatility allows them to be added to offline filtration technology and transfer systems for live, accurate condition monitoring purposes.

General Manager Sandor Bottyan, HFT highlighted, “Irrespective of the oil type or temperature, the WGM indicates the oil’s current water saturation level and provides additional safety warnings during the normal system operations.”

The range brings flexibility, functionality and simple system integration with extreme accuracy across all industrial applications. These features make the range ideal for condition monitoring on lubrication, heavy-duty and general hydraulic applications.

AquaSensors with standard 4-20 mA capabilities are used for interfacing to existing SCADA or PLC systems, while IO Link capabilities integrate with many different Internet of Things (IoT)-based platforms. This makes it the ideal solution for remote data gathering for analysis as well as many monitoring applications.

Customers can add an integrated display unit should remote mounting or monitoring be an issue. The units offer excellent full-scale accuracy and repeatability, demonstrating true data to end users.
