John Wingrove and Tillmann Olsen present Albertus van der Merwe from Samancor with a cheque for R70 000 that will serve the Abanqobi children’s home!
A deserving charity! Middleburg Ferrochrome (MFC) nominated Middelburg Care Village as their chosen recipients of a R55 000 donation. The Care Village hosted a wonderful breakfast to say thank you to MFC and Hytec. Pictured at the breakfast are: Wickus van den Berg (Planner, MFC), Frikkie de Klerk (Branch Manager, Hytec Witbank), Ruhan van Biljon (Boilermaker, MFC), Dewald Peens (Fitter, MFC), Anton Trollip (Lifting Specialist, MFC) and Kobus Olivier (Mpumalanga Area Manager, Hytec).
Hytec recently hosted 150 guests at its 4th Annual Golf Day, held at the Modderfontein Golf Club on 26 October. Our Golf Day raises money for various charities that are nominated by our customers and this year we managed to raise a total of R300 000!
This year Samancor drew the main prize and nominated Abanqobi, a registered South African children’s orphanage, as the main recipient. Abanqobi received R70 000 to better the lives of our most vulnerable children.
It was all for a great cause and we had lots of fun doing it! Guests were also well-entertained by famous golfer, Dale Hayes, during the prize-giving ceremony.
Festive golf for deserving charities!
A big thank you to all our sponsors who made the day possible!
