Hytec South Africa hosted its 6th annual Hytec Charity Golf Day on 3 October. The aim of our golf day, in association with other Group companies and sponsors, is to raise money for various charities nominated by our customers.
Hosted at Serengeti Golf Club in Kempton Park, the event was well attended by clients and colleagues, with 138 players in the field. We are pleased to announce that from proceeds for this day, we were able to contribute R250 000 to various charities.
The ‘Violence Against Woman’ campaign was the centre of attention on the day, with the first charity prize of R70 000 donated to Lawyers Against Abuse.
The beneficiaries were:
Tillmann Olsen hands the R70 000 cheque to Koos Claassens of Moolmans. The charity selected as recipient for the main prize was Lawyers Against Abuse.
Radical golfer and world record holder for numerous golfing disciplines, Heinrich du Preez, was this year’s celebrity and Master of Ceremonies, ensuring fun was had by all.
The fun was heightened by a number of lucky draw gift hampers, sponsored by ZEST. Additional prizes included ‘Nearest the Pin’ for the 9th and 15th holes, sponsored by MTN, and the Longest Drive on the 10th and 11th holes, sponsored by MTN and Hägglunds respectively.
Over the past few years, Hytec South Africa has donated in excess of R1.2 million to numerous charities. Without the support of clients, this would not be possible.
It was great day overall and we would like to thank all our customers who attended and enjoyed the day with us!
Raring to go! 138 golfers from Bosch Rexroth South Africa Group Companies and their clients head for the golf carts.
Practice makes perfect. Perfecting putting skills on the green.
