Bosch Rexroth expands synchronous servo motor range

Twice as strong but still compact: New synchronous servo motor with smaller frame size MS2N13.

Bosch Rexroth has expanded its range of MS2N synchronous servo motors with the new MS2N13, which almost doubles the maximum series torque to 692 Nm.

The MS2N13 comes in 4 different lengths, each available in three cooling options: self-cooling, force-ventilated or water cooling. With continuous torque up to 345 Nm and maximum speeds of 3 600 rpm, these motors are well-suited for a range of applications requiring precise, powerful drives, including plastics processing machines, forming technology or heavy-duty machining.

The MS2N motor series is a true all-rounder for all applications in automation and combines dynamics with compact dimensions and maximum energy efficiency. The motors can be easily configured to customer application requirements, with a wide range of shafts, encoders and holding brakes to choose from allowing for completely bespoke solutions.

In addition, the MS2N integrates SafeMotion encoders with high performance class SIL3/PLe, which simplifies system design and lowers costs while retaining the highest safety requirements.

With the additions to the MS2N motor range, Bosch Rexroth is helping production floors across the world be more agile, efficient and competitive.

The MS2N range is available in sub-Saharan Africa through Tectra Automation.
