Schmalz has developed a range of check valves for applications where some of the suction pads may not be in contact with the work piece, in these situations the check valve initiates the deactivation of unused suction pads.

This energy efficient system is ideal in situations where the vacuum handling of work pieces with varying sizes and shapes is conducted with the same gripper system.

• Closing of vacuum lines leading to unused suction pads to maintain the system vacuum

• Low leakage rate which can be compensated with the aid of a bypass
